Refraction influence to estimation of target elevation in airborne radar

چکیده
The influence of refraction when observing a surface or ground target in an airborne radar is considered. In this case, it necessary to take into account the angle photogrammetric atmospheric refraction. However, its behavior not covered literature. ground-based radars, true must be taken account. At high flight altitude, several times larger than angle. Calculation and comparison angles was performed. A simplified accounting model considered, which radius Earth replaced by equivalent radius. permissible conditions for use are estimated. Tables values performing elevation bearing correction onboard presented.

moving target detection in airborne widely separated phased mimo radar using generalized subspace detector
in this paper, the detection of moving targets in airborne widely separated phased multiple input multiple output (mimo) radars which are located on moving platform is investigated. in order to derive the detector, the generalized likelihood ratio test is applied. the proposed detection rule, exploits the clutter subspace information and its maximum likelihood estimation, to improve the detecti...
متن کاملestimation of ground moving target parameters in squint single-antenna synthetic aperture radar
in this paper, by considering a squint angle for synthetic aperture radar in the strip-map mode, a method is proposed for estimating parameters of a fixed acceleration moving target. non-zero doppler centroid and range-azimuth coupling in the squint mode add complexity to estimation equations of moving target parameters and cause doppler ambiguity. this, in turn, causes to lose the efficiency o...
متن کاملAnalysis of Target Location Estimation in High Performance Radar System
In this paper, an analysis of a target location estimation system using the best linear unbiased estimator (BLUE) for high performance radar systems is presented. In synthetic environments, we are here concerned with three key elements of radar system modeling, which makes radar systems operates accurately in strategic situation in virtual ground. Radar Cross Section (RCS) modeling is used to d...
متن کاملAdvances in Airborne Radar Simulation
Airborne Radar Simulation, in the present context, is the real-time generation of radar displays and other radar outputs, such as data exchanges with the flight computer or other avionics subsystems, consistent with the actual radar and in response to the interaction with the operator, ownship, targets, and the environment. The primary application is flight simulators for man-in-the-loop traini...
